A fixed mindset has to do with pessimism and the opposite is optimism which is what a growth mindset requires. To change your mindset, you first need to identify the negativity in your mind and then, seek positivity to change them.

For example, if your fixed thought is “I can’t learn the French language”, choose positivity by doing all it takes to learn French.

You can also seek positivity by keeping positive friends and reading positive things.


Once you have identified your fixed mindset and have written the positive outcome of it, try to meditate on these positive thoughts. You can create time for meditating. You can choose to either do it when you wake every morning or every night before you sleep.

Also, reading books or articles relating to the aspect you want to change will help in your meditation.

Self Development

You must always strive to develop yourself in all aspects your mindset is fixed. Making a constant effort to change is a good strategy for you. This is so because the more you do a thing, the more you become perfect at it.
