My name is Rethabile Tsephe.
I perceive Life as a book, filled with discoveries and wonder. “You have no idea of what the next page will unfold, but you carry on playing your role because of the probability of a shift moment.
The reality of being human is governed by emotions and feelings we carry upon ourselves; like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.
About Changing Faces
I’m the founder of Changing Faces, an online themed mental health publication that encourages the use of expressive writing. Writing offers a profound opportunity to introspect and genuinely be honest with yourself.
We understand the struggles of being human; the balance between being a husband, wife, mother, sister, employer or employee, social, and academics. It’s a lot to take in. This may contribute to the development of mental health issues such as; stress, anxiety & burnout.

Changing Faces is created to build a network of individuals with a mutual understanding; to break the stigma around mental health, through storytelling the what, why, when & how mental health issues affected them. As well as their recovery.
Our strengths involve motivation & encouragement to share the good, bad & ugly stories about mental health issues. The first step towards “therapy”. Writing, just like journaling is “Therapeutic” and allows you to dig deep within your emotions; and to get a better comprehension of WHO YOU ARE!
The AFJC™ 2021 Program
The reason I participated in the BizSkills virtual incubation program was primarily to learn about various methods/ innovative styles I can apply within the service to obviously, build & grow a clientele of clients who faithfully share their stories with us for awareness and growth in capital.
Our novelty lies in sharing the stories to the public through different social media platforms for example; Facebook, twitter, Instagram &
WhatsApp.
I have tremendously learned a lot from this program. The Growth Mindset allowed me to evaluate my own mindset, whether I’ve been governed by a “fixed or growth mindset”. I consistently introspect my interpersonal skills I need to improve in when faced with my competitors.
The courses have instilled in me the ability to create an added advantage; to stand out from the rest through innovative ways. Learning about the importance of PESTLE analysis; has granted me the opportunity to carefully reflect and re-strategize my service for optimal results. Each letter plays a vital role in one’s life or business, and; the objective is based on the ability to define, understand, analyze and evaluate the service in general.
Mental Health
Mental health is a term that refers to a person’s psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social well-being. How a person thinks, feels, acts, relate to others, makes choices, and handles stress. The term is also sometimes used to denote the absence of mental illness. Some psychologists and health experts have proposed a spectrum of symptoms; with good mental health at one end and mental disorders at the other.
Being mentally healthy is one of the most important things in life. It contributes to physical health and happiness; makes a person resilient and capable of handling adversity in all its forms.
However, candid discussions of mental health are often stigmatized in our culture but we at changing faces want to change that. We want you to seek help without feeling ashamed. We want you to be part of our family by joining us to break the mental health stigma; by sharing your stories.
Aristotle once mentioned that:
Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives – choice, not chance, determines your destiny.

As I continue with the AFJC 2021 cohort, I anticipate the continuance of putting my head in the remaining modules.
I hope this is sufficient to motivate you to write about your mental health issue for a more balanced worthwhile existence.
